The PlantaVida Residency is an opportunity to spend one to three months immersed in the rhythms of the land, community life, and personal growth. While retreats offer a brief encounter, the residency allows for a deeper experience — enough time to explore what it means to live more consciously while remaining engaged with everyday life.
Residency life weaves together three elements: contribution, exploration, and inner work.
Residents contribute to the ongoing development of PlantaVida in many ways. Some support work on the land through gardens, agroforestry, or ecological building, while others contribute through areas such as kitchen, social media, community projects, organization, or creative initiatives. Each person brings their own skills and energy to the collective project.
Alongside this practical engagement, the residency offers space for personal integration and reflection. Many residents arrive with an interest in psychedelic therapy and plant medicine, particularly ayahuasca. At PlantaVida we work with local teachers and cultivate the plants on the land, creating opportunities to learn about the growing, preparation, and cultural context of the medicine with respect and care.
A key intention of the residency is integration — learning how to bring the insights of expanded states of consciousness into a grounded and sustainable daily life.
For some, the residency becomes a meaningful chapter before continuing their journey elsewhere. For others, it becomes clear during their stay that they would like to deepen their commitment and live as part of the PlantaVida community.
If this path resonates with you, we invite you to book a call with us so we can connect, answer your questions, and explore how you might begin your residency at PlantaVida.
