What Is PlantaVida?
A few words about us

PlantaVida began with a simple realization:
It is difficult to live differently when we are alone.
Around the world, many people are questioning the lifestyle they inherited. They feel disconnected from themselves, from nature, from community, and from any deeper sense of purpose. They may have successful careers, busy social lives, or financial stability, yet still feel that something essential is missing.
Many of us have spent years searching for another way of living.
Some traveled. Some explored spirituality. Some worked on healing trauma. Some discovered meditation, yoga, dance, natural medicine, permaculture, or plant medicine. Some left cities. Some changed careers. Some simply began asking deeper questions.
And along the way, many of us discovered the same thing:
Growth becomes much easier when it happens in community.
PlantaVida was born from the desire to create a physical space where people with aligned values could come together and support one another in living more consciously.
Not escaping the world.
Not rejecting society.
But creating a healthier relationship with life.
A Space for Growth
At the heart of PlantaVida is the belief that we are here to grow.
Personal growth is not only about achievement or success. It is about becoming more connected:
to ourselves,
to nature,
and to one another.
We believe healing ourselves is part of healing the world.
This healing can happen in many forms:
learning self-love,
improving communication,
eating nourishing food,
spending time in nature,
practicing self-reflection,
building meaningful relationships,
participating in ceremony,
contributing to community,
and creating work aligned with our values.
Modern life often separates these dimensions from one another. Work is disconnected from purpose. Health is disconnected from community. Spirituality becomes isolated from daily life.
PlantaVida seeks to bring these aspects back together.
Community as a Way of Life
PlantaVida is not only a retreat center.
It is an experiment in intentional living.
We imagine a place where people know their neighbors, share meals, create projects together, and feel genuinely supported by those around them. A place where community is not an occasional experience, but part of daily life.
Our vision includes:
an intentional community,
regenerative businesses,
ecological responsibility,
shared spaces,
workshops and events,
retreats and volunteering,
and opportunities for long-term participation and stewardship.
Some people may come only for a short visit.
Others may stay longer as volunteers.
Some may eventually become residents, collaborators, or co-creators of the vision itself.
We see PlantaVida as a living ecosystem that grows through relationships.
Connection to Nature
Nature is central to our vision.
We believe modern society has largely forgotten its relationship with the natural world. Many people spend most of their lives indoors, disconnected from the rhythms that humans lived with for thousands of years.
At PlantaVida, we seek to rebuild that connection through:
ecological living,
regenerative practices,
natural building,
healthy food,
outdoor experiences,
and daily contact with the land.
We aim to create a lifestyle that is both grounded and sustainable — spiritually, socially, economically, and ecologically.
Plant Medicine and Ceremony
Plant medicine also has an important role within PlantaVida.
We support the work of experienced practitioners and recognize ceremonial spaces as opportunities for healing, reflection, and connection. We view these practices with respect, responsibility, and consent.
For us, ceremony is not separate from life.
The deeper purpose is integration:
bringing greater awareness, authenticity, and connection into everyday living.
An Alternative, Not an Escape
PlantaVida is not about abandoning society or withdrawing from the world.
We are not against work, prosperity, or entrepreneurship. In fact, we believe meaningful work and economic sustainability are essential for long-term community health.
Our vision includes businesses, projects, and shared economic development that allow people to contribute while living aligned with their values.
We believe abundance is a blessing when paired with responsibility and generosity.
This is not a rejection of modern life.
It is an attempt to reimagine it.
Who Is PlantaVida For?
PlantaVida naturally attracts people who feel there must be another way to live.
People who value:
self-reflection,
growth,
community,
nature,
spirituality,
creativity,
authenticity,
and meaningful human connection.
Some are beginning their journey.
Others have spent decades exploring holistic living and conscious communities around the world.
What unites them is a shared desire:
to live more connected lives.
Looking Forward
Our long-term vision is to help create communities where people can truly belong.
Places where growth is supported.
Where healing is normalized.
Where nature is respected.
Where prosperity and spirituality are not enemies.
Where people feel connected to one another.
Where life is lived with more intention.
Perhaps most importantly, we hope PlantaVida reminds people of something many already feel deep inside:
Another way of living is possible.
